    It won't be a PPV. It's going to be on regular HBO. Either way, I'm not looking forward to it. This fight has clinch fest written all over it.

    This fight doesn't excite me at all.. If it's on PPV, I probably won't even buy it.. I do think this fight does need to happen though..

    That's actually a great idea. If Mayweather/De la Hoya 2 were to have a very legitimate undercard, it could be a somewhat successful reconcilatory attempt directed at the more hardcore fans who disapprove of the rematch.

    Hatton doesn't fight on undercards.

    He's probably got the best fan base in the world, why would he be pissing around on other guys undercards?

    because that card would do unbelievable numbers....because (even though i think it would be pointless) he could talk after the fight (if he won) about how he wanted to fight floyd in england, and with fans seeing that (providing he had a good showing) they would be interested in it.
    Right now, if you show a hatton fight on some channel that half the world doesnt get, it doesnt matter how popular he is in england....the rest of the world (outside boxing fans) wont be watching him. You add him to an odl card and people will start talking.
    It would make a Hell of alot of sense for him to do this.

    hatton just got a $12,000,000 live gate.

    the fight was ppv so we do not know the numbers yet but his last fight took place at 4.30 am uk time v mayweather and got
    1,250,000 ppv or $36,000,000 ppv money.
