Beat Kostya and made everyone beleive in him.. took on dangerous guys like Calazzo and Castillo .. He moved slowly at first , but no real padding required..

    He came along quite normally..

Tyson had his trent singletons and Dave Jaco;s..

Holyfield had his Lyonel Byarms ...

Dela Hoya had plenty of stiffs to along the way and was actually dropped by a few..

Its not called padding its called development and honing seasoned skills..

Very strange thinking... The oddest one i heard recently was some clown saying Ibeabuchi v Tua was dull and boring..

Its a hard sport when viewed from the couch.. LOL

Whatever makes you feel better about it....

Truth IS he had 38 fights before he took on Tszyu... who was downhill... in Manchester... with his personal favorite ref.

and fought the most disgusting way I had ever seen...

His notches consist of nobodies, cans, average joes, and old men who "coulda been somebody".

Not to mention his two biggest notches came at quite an opportune time... for HIM... with his crowning jewel win chock full of advantages and illegal holding and hitting.

    The poll hath spoken.

its so obvious that your jealous that your boy never had the bollocks to tackle the great koysta tszyu and then hatton turned up with balls of steel and made the greatest fighter of his generation quit in a toe to toe battle.

get over it man, then this forum can move on and have some decent discussion.

I don't know if his undefeated record is tainted with lesser stature names but I guess he had every reason for sayin what he did after the JLC fight, let's face it - it was a more impressive result than out-witting Hoya, Baldomir and Judah altogether... No fixed result either, I know when a guy gets hurt to the liver pretty bad and I do believe he can deliver the coupe de grace on Floyd if he rolls his shoulders, pretty stationary against the ropes... Most say that Floyd has Ricky's number but how can someone say that the reverse isn't true as well?
