    Simple Question....

I personally believe yes... If Your Confident in your abilities you should have any two fight option clause.... Oscar obviously hasnt had a 2 fight option for any of his recent Losses

Your phrasing here is all screwed up.

Do you mean "Is not having a 2 fight option a sign of fear?"?

    No....

    2 fight option means
    if you happen to lose
    you automatically get a rematch

why are you concerned with losing if your confident in your abilities?

It was Haye who wanted the options according to reliable sources.

Man. You aren't even trying now. The two fight option was Haye's demand. Haye wants to fight both Klitchko's and both Klitchko's want to fight Haye. Simply business. Lots of money.

Not really. But if the contract details that Rob Palmer posted are true then Wlad did try and duck the fight and the fight being made is totally down to Haye and his desire to fight the best.

I think Wlad KOs Haye, but regardless of the outcome, IF those details are true, Wlads team tried to make it an impossible contract to agree to. But I would like to see a source on this before believing it.

Is it a 2 fight option after the fight? Or is it just a rematch option? If Wlad loses two times he has no right to a third fight. To fight a trilogy the beaten fighter has to win the second fight period.

Okay, I see...I was thinking about it from the other side. Like Bute-Andrade for instance; it could be interpreted as fearful not having a rematch clause if you knew a "favorable outcome" might result in the familiar surroundings of the first fight but were nervous about the relative unpredictability in hostile/neutral territory in a return bout.

I'm still not sure about the point you were making regarding ODLH. :huh

Some Of You Are Thick Headed

Yes I Got The Idea of The Thread from haye & wlad... but their not the only people in the world who have had them

tarver & chad dawson spring to mind

    just answer the damn question

    and my point about oscar

oscar has fought and lost to

    bhop
    floyd
    oscar

Without any "rematch clause" which leads me to believe he was confident in his abilities when the fight was originally conceived... the floyd rematch was supposed to happen but it wasnt because of a "rematch clause" the first fight made so much money it would be stupid not to have a rematch

Again, speaking of thick heads, it is business done by the people that take care of the business end of things. Usually when a belt is involved. Otherwise they make little sense. So you want to call it a "sign of fear" by the business people instead of 'good business'?

Anyone that believes either Klitchsko is ducking Haye must be suffering from some form dementia. You cannot duck someone who has not even earned the right to fight you. The match is happening because Haye has made it personal and there is money to be made, not because Haye's greatness is undeniable or something.

oh so its great business for antonio tarver to have a rematch clause against chad dawson..... since so many people tuned into the first fight
