Is having a good Chin about mentality or physique?

    Plenty of mentally strong fighters did not have great china. Being capable of shrugging off clean shots 95% physical

    Very true. I'd bet there is some average joes with a Joe Joyce level chin who would get sparked out by Hughie Fury because they don't know how to brace for a punch.

    It's both, when I was hurt I needed toughness to get through the pain , but punches that stunned me didn't hurt at all , it just felt like I lost power with the plug being pulled. Being relaxed in the ring and not being tense is another thing that really helps in taking punches, a skill I never mastered .Always admired guys who were cool under fire

    There’s a certain point where it’s all genetics. If you’re at a championship level I’m sure everyone has the confidence to take a shot, then it just comes down to whether their body’s can handle it.

    Take a punch is about how good your chin physically but too keep taking the punches and getting up is about how mentally strong you are and are willing to take
