Is 30 years old to old to have a few a ameatur bouts. Iv attended boxing clubs in the past and done quite a bit of sparring and sparred plenty of carded novice boxers and done pretty well. I would like a few ameatur bouts but am I too old for all this. I feel fine

Go for it pal. Age is a number, nothing else. IF you have the drive and the will, go for it.

I had my first bout when i was 30, iv'e had 5 now and i'm 32, though i have lost four! (They were all robberies honest;). No its not to old, i'm as fit as anyone else in our gym, i suppose if anything when i'm fighting these 19/20 year old kids i feel a bit slower and less reactive, but maybe thats just me and nothing to do with my age

    Go for it man.

I only started training boxing at 29 (30 now) and I am the fittest I've ever been. I'm planning a few amateur fights as well. Age ain't nothing but a number.
