Is Haye a moron or just bitter?

Haye might beat Vitali now but I wouldn't even class Vitali as 'best of the rest' behind Wladimir. These guys need to fight often and beat the top guys to prove they are 'best of the rest'. All I see is fighters who rarely fight, and cherry pick when they do. Even Vitali hasn't put on a good performance against a decent opponent since he fought Adamek. He's old and just about finished we can conclude.


Maybe Haye's being rated very highly off a win over Dereck Chisora ?
I mean, that's Haye's only win since 2010, and I'm going back to Audley Harrison fight (a meaningless win). Haye's heavyweight accomplishments are very weak indeed.
No boxing fans or writers rated Ruiz, Harrison or Barrett as relevant contenders when Haye fought them. Valuev was coming off terrible showing against a 46-year-old Holyfield and looking to retire. These fights were all years ago.
It must be the Chisora fight that impresses people ?

 

I agree with this, and I don't think one fighter should get the jump over another fighter 'un******ted' but outside Haye & Purlev or whatever the right spelling is, Haye's still best HW. NO?

 

Well, put it this way : Wladimir's still #1 and there are probably three or four guys who could claim the #2 spot and Haye's among them.

They both got 26 odd million payday didn't they? Obviously that will have been taxed but i think he probably made 3 million plus for valuev, ruiz and harrison. He's the biggest earner in britain by a distance.
