Haye is already an ATG. Not as a fighter.

He has recently overtaken Bowe and flown into first place as the #1 ATG ducker in all of history. Quite the accomplishment.

    No

His best wins are ok but not great

Fragomeni was a beltholder but nothing special

Mormeck was his best win the unified champ coming off a win over Bell

Mac was an undfeated holder but proved to be kind of weak in the following years the win has lost its luster and the stoppage was a bit early

plus his only career loss was at the weight

Guys like Jirov won a belt and defended it for 5 yrs or more

Gomez had a great reign and good wins

    Orlin Norris did well

    Holyfield

    Quawi

cruiserweight is a **** weightclass. Comparing achievement is silly.

Even though one could argue about the current quality of the division, to be heavyweight champion of the world is still badass.

no. what did he have 20 fights at cruiserweight?? he fought maccarinelli, fragomeni, and mormeck yes. but he shamelessly ducked lucian bute, chad dawson, steve cunningham, and thomas adamek at cruiserweight the same way he is ducking the heavyweights now

and you have to defend your titles as well....for several years to be an ATG. ATGS need lots of fights... you cant have 25 fights ...20 against bums and 3 against semi champs(neither adamek/cunningham) the real competition, and 2 old bums valuev and ruiz far past their prime

People say he was the man at Crusierweight.....But lets look...he had 2 world title fights there. JUST THE TWO!!! With a shot Mormeck and Enzo Mac NEITHER were special fighters.

He DID NOT defend his belts. Do it was all quite UNREMARKABLE to be honest. Just ANOTHER world champ in a terrible division.

The less said about his heavyweight career the better, its too embaressing.

But if he does retire in October like he promises with fighting a K Brother then he will have fought...Barrett (average) Valuev (worst world champ and boxer in heavyweight history...and the fight was a stinker)...Ruiz ( Shot 10 years ago...Roy Jones came up from light heavy and beat him better when Ruiz still decent).......and Harrison (the biggest joke in British boxing history)

All this after proclaiming himself the saviour of heavyweight division....He will look the biggest fraud in recent memory. Nothing more than a con artist who made a lot of money by wasting a lot of peoples time

No ....... he wasn't in that kinda league.. won a couple of belts because he was in the right place at right time... he was good....... but not an ATG by anyones standards...

He has never fought in a legendary fight at either weight class.. Longevity is a major factor of ATG status.. he hasn't done anything over time to warrent it at all....

yes that's the thing really. his inactivity has meant that he can never really be remembered at heavyweight.

at cruiser he beat gurov, fragomeni, mormeck and maccarinelli. he became undisputed unified champion. his performances at that weight set him way above everyone else really.

the division is shallow and usually a pit stop so he doesn't have much competition other than holyfield.

at heavy he can never get above the top 30, and only then if he beats the two brothers. especially with only wlad being seen as a potential top 15 heavyweight.

at heavy he can't achieve much other than an afternote to his achievements at cruiserweight.
