Who knows what haye has left?until he fights someone half decent its impossible to tell.He has got very bulky which seems to have slowed him down .it will be interesting finding out how he gets on .a big money fight with Joshua is likely if he uses his speed he could do well fighting on the retreat with stinging counters tiring Joshua in the late rnds if he can do it remains to be seen.time will tell.
Match against Joshua would be the most lucrative, winner would earn really "big money". I consider this match 50/50 type, like a match against Ortiz (unfortunately, not so lucrative).
Yeah he's capable, but he's clearly not interested. The non-effort he put in against Klitschko showed me that he's just in it for the money. Back when he was a cruiserweight, and on his way up, he was a genuinely vicious puncher. Never seen a harder hitter at cruiser I don't think. I still think his KO of Jean Marc Mormeck was the peak of his career. After that though, it was all about the money.
He's already very wealthy. Once he became a big star in the UK and ppv material, he was done. After the Enzo Maccarinelli fight I think.
Wilder, Povetkin and even Pulev have less questionmarks behind them than Haye. Who has Haye beaten in the last 5 years? How many top 20 opponents? :rofl:rofl
Tell me, honestly, please : Would you like to see Haye vs. Joshua ? Haye vs. Ortiz ? Haye vs. Wilder ? Haye vs. Povetkin ? If your answer is NO, I can not consider you a genuine boxing fan.
:good When talking about Haye people can't think rationally anymore. Obviously he led down all boxing fans many times already and he clearly seems to be in the game to only gather more money but he IS in fact a great boxer. Great not in the sense of him being an all time great but definitely top 2 - 5 of his generation. Haye versus the above mentioned would make for great fights. If Haye fought Wilder or Povetkin I know who, even his biggest critics, would put their money on.
Personally, I'm pretty sick of threads about hypothetical Haye fights. When he has a fight signed and ready to go, I'm happy to read about him. Otherwise, I'd prefer to read something about HWs who are actually active against quality opposition.
I have always acknowledged Haye's supreme skills, amazing blistering power and speed once Vlad retires yes he could reign as the unified champion given the opportunity to fight the titleholders Haye is on another level entirely than the rest of these current titleholders
