What a night, what a performance by Wlad.....total domination of a guy who most considered the 3rd best in the world. Wlad totally took him out of his fight.

Interesting take. Especially considering HBO pulling out. I'm not sure how much difference there was in money going from HBO to ESPN but that might have been enough to give Haye something. Would have made sense since that money was going to disappear anyhow. Strange but I really have found that the truth works just fine most of the time. :deal

Could you imagine the Haye fans if Wald took money from his pocket to give David to make the fight happen? Would have been priceless, except after Wald destroyed Haye, they wouldn't be here anyhow.

There is always room to negotiate, always. Yes, haye would have got much less than he originally would have received from setanta, but if you make a bad mistake and pick a horse in a race and they dont finish, guess what you lose money(setanta). The ticket sales, part of some television, and just work with Wlads team, he had weeks to do it.

Instead, he screws his fans who paid to see him, lies about an inury and wastes 6 months of wlad's prime. If that isnt enough he might have just cost himself his title shot, permanently.

I do not see how the Haye fans defend him at this point.

Just what room to negotiate exactly was there seeing as wlad had all the money from HBO and RTL as well as the ticket sales.
Was Haye going to get the money from the ice cream sales to pay for all of his backroom staff and trainer and corner men pluss travel costs and transport etc etc etc etc.
There is more to than just turning up and throwing punches you know.
Haye lost a fortune paying for his training camp in Cyprus as well as paying his sparring partners as well as the travel costs not to mention the promotional costs.
Do you really think he would throw all that money away unless he absolutley had to.?

 

Bottom line is Haye has no Chin and no heart. He faked an injury to avoid a brutal KO. Haye is a disgrace.

Haye had a title shot lined up just this past week. **** happens. Injuries happen. No one is necessarily to blame - but when Haye hasn't earned a proper top ten ranking he can't keep expecting the rest of the heavyweight division to go on hold for him to heal and fight Wladimir. Haye needs to beat a few top contenders and create a world wide demand for him to fight Wladimir and then the fans will demand the fight be made again.

 

According to Klitschko's manager they have no interest in fighting the big hairy freak this year. To be honest i think Vitali wants Haye bad and thats what he's looking at right now.
