Looks like the Klitschko and Chisora fights weren't enough $$ for Haye's retirement plan. I really don't think he really cares about more titles unless they give him the leverage for one more big pay day $$. The acting career and other 'business ventures' obviously didn't work out! Haye insists the comeback is all about his 'legacy' as a fighter. But if that's true he shouldn't even bother because David Haye will never be loved by the British fans because of his antics in the past. He was the most hated man in England after the Klitschko debacle, and he seems to hope people have forgot about that. I respect Haye as a fighter, one of the best cruiser-weights ever IMO, but his HW career has always been a gimmick. He's also let too many people down and shown too little respect for his fellow pros when it suited his agenda and ego for anyone to take him seriously now!
And I dont think that will change by him having a few tune-up fights before throwing himself under the Joshua hype train for the big $$ and that seems to be the plan..
Did you see the press conference against de mori "Relax man - plenty of time for that son". Had me in stitches haye looked afraid.
Seems to be about money didn't he get arrested in Dubai earlier in the year because his check bounced? If he was so bothered about legacy he would have done a lot of things differently. I really don't think he loves the sport anymore.
