the only thing i find elusive about haye is his boxing technique, maybe he feels he can plow through with hayemakers but he looks crude at times
His footwork is not even close to being great, never mind best/good. His footwork is the Heavyweight version of Khan's footwork.
Not really. Footspeed? Possibly. But his footwork is not good at all. The amount of times he finds himself off balance is proof of this.
dont get me wrong here... by "above average" am i in no way saying that's the best... i'm just saying that for a heavyweight.. compared to the rest in the division, his footwork is above average...not good or great.
Fair enough, but to be honest, I wouldn't even go that far...average at best for me. Literally every time he attacks he is off balance, he squares up a great deal also. His footwork looks ok when he isn't under any sort of pressure, but once he picks his time to attack, it goes to ****. Comparing Khan's and Haye's footwork is actually the first time I have thought about this today, and it's not an unrealistic comparison at all. IMO.
It's not actually that bad, if you look at some of the others, who cant even get in to a position to attack/defend, yet Haye can set up his counters fairly well. You gotta have decent footwork to have been effective at the lower cruiserweight division as guys arent ponderous and slow as the heavies. So he's no sweet pea, but he's not as bad as some of you make out.
I think Wlad has much better footwork than Haye. He has some of the best fundamentals of any boxer active today.
I always though Bidenko had good movement. Compare Haye vs Valuev vs Bidenko. [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pafevRhKX5c[/ame] The whole fight is great but rd 12 is amazing Bidenko has him out on his feet. (and Taras is regarded as feather fisted) [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uGnmYESm07c&feature=related[/ame]
too late I think he'll just revert to his default setting mate, he's been like this his entire career.
If you wanted an honest opinion then you shouldn't have posted on this forum. Far to many idiotic Klitschko "fans" to get any sort of honest response.
Yeah instead of posting on the general forum to get a representative response, he should have gone over to the British forum to get some real opinions................of queers, who idolize this fraud.
