Is Haye the hardest hitter in the Heavyweight division?

Discussion in 'World Boxing Forum' started by ThereIsOnlyOne, May 4, 2012.

  1. Fully expect pelters on here for this.
I know the incredible k.o percentage Vitali has, i've heard them talk about how it feels to be hit by Wlad. But a lot of these are combination punches or series of shots finishes.
Im talking about one punch game changing, what the **** just happened, put your arse out power. Am i crazy to think Haye possesses this more than any other in the heavyweight division today?

Who has Haye 1 punch KO'd at HW?

His fight with Audley was fixed.

He had to pound on the back of Ruiz' head to score KD's.

Monte Barrett had been previously KO'd many times.

    Robert Helenius?

Knockout wins over Peter, Liakhovich and Brewster were brutal ones and he was also able to hurt Chisora pretty badly, Klitschko couldn't do that..

    Nah. Wlad hits much harder.

Is Haye the most explosive puncher? Arguable.

Wlad is. He's just a safety first fighter and doesn't like taking risks.

He could have finished a lot of his fights a lot earlier if he wished.

yeah because i have not seen that type of power from him at hw or cw. haye has good punching power but what you desrcribe sounds more like sam peter.now that is a guy with one punch ko power.

No, Wlad, when he really sits down on his punches would hit harder than Haye in my opinion.

IMO, Deontay Wilder's overhand right is the hardest punch in the boxing world right now.

Helenius' straight right is probably a very close second.

    I'd rank Wlad at #3.

Haye isn't even on the short list. Puh-leeez......

Spot on. I'd say yes he is, which is why I would favour him to stop chisora.

Nope. He has decent pop, but the only guys he has stopped at HW were ancient Ruiz and pathetic Audley. The former wasn't a 1-shot ko and the latter was either a fix or a tremendous mismatch. He has done nothing at HW to indicate that his power is anywhere near that of Wladimir.

Wlad is the hardest hitter.Hayes an explosive hitter but he dos'nt carry the weight behind his punch like either Klit.A guy thats athletic and 250 hitting you is gonna be alot more jarring than a guy 210.
