haye has fought no one at heavyweight but he is still a big money fighter, so he must be intelligent in the way of building himself up.

Credit his mobster handlers with that. All Gaye does is run off his mouth, same as any wrassler in Vince McMahon's wrasslin shows.

Pleeeasse, Haye is speaking his mothertongue while Wladimir is speaking his, what? Fourth best language? And while Haye may be slightly more glib (in English), Wlad is much funnier, more well-spoken and clearly smarter. Won't be their higher faculties that settle this fight, though.

Haye has shown to be disciplined in the way he applied the right strategy against Valuev based on Holyfield's effort b4. That is a good beggining to look up towards in a Klitschko fight... However, I do not see he's that adaptable and adjustable like very smart and proven fighters are such as Calzaghe, Hopkins, Mayweather, Ward, JMM and so on... Haye is right on Klitschko's approach to boxing tho - he's too stiff and too automatic - it's definitely up to Haye to replicate his effort with Valuev and skip Wlad's jab like he did against Nicolai's. He has to use fast legs, punch in spurts and never stay on the ropes like he did when he was knocked down not so long ago against Mormeck.

If Klitschko was so stiff and "automatic" he never would have landed anything substantial on Chris Byrd, kind of like how the supposedly "more fluid" Tua never landed anything damaging on Byrd. Even if Haye's only focus is on defense he's still going to get hit on Saturday.

You could say that Wladimir is too cautious, but I wouldn't call him stiff. He moves quite well around the ring and is good at both preserving energy and stepping up the pressure when needed.

Chris Byrd chose to fight the wrong fight against Wladimir and that is to outdo him out of his jab and even if he's quite slick at it ( outdid brother Vitali who quit on his stool), that was definitely the wrong approach. Tua is compact and ultra-powerful but he's not fluid enough if people don't leave him to turn on his left hook on the spot ( Rahman, Byrd, Lewis, and more)... Haye's focus is on Wladimir's stiffness and one-dimensional boxing, there I said it!
