I mean come on, only one round to Bradley? I had him winning more than that (not winning the fight though)..

Lederman is not the whole HBO. I gave Bradley 3 rounds. I only hear complaints about the HBO's "bias" toward Pac from anti-Pacquiao posters. Perhaps they don't like hearing anything positive about Pac (except if that positive is a PED test!). This is probably why Kellerman does Pac fights now. He's HBO's consistent Pac critic so these guys would stop complaining. Apparently that's not enough. If a punch lands on Pac, Lampley will call it.

Lederman is really the one who is biased. It's really hard to impress that guy if you're the underdog.

Yes, HBO is often biased, and sometimes subtlety root for a particular fighter. But what does that have to do with the travesty of Bradley winning? He may have not won only one round, but it can be said he only one round decisively.

I can't stand HBO's commentary for the most part. I like Showtime way better in that department.

I found max very disrespectful in terms of when bailey won his title that night. It was not Baileys fault the amount of commissions there is, nor the way he won the fight. He won by knockout...if you watch it again at times he even rolls his eyes.

We had the Top Rank feed, with Brian Kenny and Mario Lopez, and Brian was actually seeing the fight as close. Maybe even tied, by 2/3rds of the way, if I remember right.

(Didn't really notice everything he was saying, it was too loud (maybe I was too loud LOL) where I was watching the fight.

    :think

I just watched and scored the fight with the sound off. Its a much different fight without Lampley screaming Boom everytime Pac hit Bradley's gloves. I had Pac 115-113, much closer than I had it while watching it live with Pac's fans in the arena and the HBO crew. It was really bad.

    This :good

People forget that the job of a boxing commentator is to call the fight how it is happening. Back in the days where fights were called through radio, that's all you had to rely on. These days people can see the bias that they hide and why not? At the end of the day, HBO pays their bills and they will say whatever they are told.

I gave him three, but some of those were close. HBO isn't the problem here - Arum and the judges are. When even marquee fighters get robbed, the sport is on it's last legs.

TR commentary was much much worse. They were trying to build a case for Bradley winning the fight from round one and avoided calling much of the action, repeated that script all 12 rounds. Obvious commentating to a pre-set agenda. Even when Pac was wobbling Bradley Brian Kenny was hailing praise on Bradley for the round.
