Calzaghe is a super middleweight fighting at light heavy in recent time.
How the ****, is Calzaghe "shot to pieces" exactly? Past his best? Yes. Slightly faded? Yes. Shot to pieces? Not even close.

I love how you just accept that Joe is "shot to pieces" when of course that is complete bollocks and everyone with a basic understand of boxing or half a brain knows this. If there was such a thing as a shot Calzaghe, there is no way he beats a prime Jones. I'm starting to think some of guys on this forum are crystal meth addicts or something. Some of the crap you talk is stunning.

Co-sign that. On what planet would a prime Jones run out of gas half way through the fight like he did last night..

A fresher roy? Oh Jesus! You are a dickweed. A fresher fighter is one coming off of 3 confidence building wins and time to readjust to 175 lbs. Not when you just got ko'd 4 months prior. johnson ko'd a worse fighter than the one joe beat up last night.

You're forgetting that Roy has aged another 4 years since then and hasn't proven his worth against level of decent opponent, and has in fact looked lackluster in all of his fights leading up to this fight. That also plays a factor.

I do imagine what Jones would do to him in his prime, he would slaughter him and completely thrash him inside of 6 rounds. This is an old Roy, BEYOND shot since 2003 went the distance and was the one to who scored the knockdown when everyone thought he will be on the canvas.

In hos prime he would demolish him.
