    With Joe and many others?

Or will Eddie put Ricky in there with the cream of his division/make the fights that the public want to see? Or is Ricky just going to get rinsed with defences against nobodies up north?

I think he will make the big fights at some point, but I don't expect a Vasquez or Abril in the next couple of fights for Burns

Vasquez, Abril and Gamboa are the fights I would like to see Ricky get but I think Hearn will try make the fight with Rees.

A fight with Rees is pointless.

I swear Eddie is just a great talker! Kell has 70 "Final Eliminators", Ricky is going 3 steps back facing Broner's leftovers in Rees (and I think Rees is massively entertaining).

    It's a farce, imo.

Martinez, Katsidis, Moses, Mitchell & Gonzalez all dangerous opponents.

Don't get this clamour for the Vasquez & Abril fights. They will be stinkers that Burns will lose. Theres a dozen better fights at 135 for Burns.

Do people honestly think Kell Brook was the 1st fighter to have a an eliminator and a final eliminator?

Are people gonna slag of Tyson Fury for fighting 2 eliminators?

Why put him in with a Broner, Gamboa, Abril etc when they will all beat him comfortably?

Hearn has a cash cow and will milk him as much as he can.

De Marco is surely the perfect balance between the promoter's and the fan's interests for the september date

From listening to Hearn's interviews I think this is the case. He's talked about needing to have "momentum" on side before going for a really big fight and has also spoken about making Burns a big star in Scotland. To me this translates as "we'll have a few easier fights while building up his profile and THEN take the really big fights".

For me the jury is still out on Hearn. Too early to judge him at the moment but the next 6-12 months will show if he really is different to all the rest or just the same old rubbish with a glossy wrapper. I suspect it's the latter. Some of the older posters *cough cough Gaz;) who've seen it all before have been saying it all along. I just hope Rob will be okay if Hearn does turn out to be a disappointment.

probably more realistic but I'd prefer De Marco.

its nailed on to be Rees when he does a number on Crolla, still think Burns deals with Rees he fights nothing like Gonzales he has not got the height, reach, power or Work-rate to bother burns in my opinion

  15. they want Vasquez next for sept, maybe abril as eddie said he is intrested in the fight
