Is Hearn plotting Brook/Rios for May 30th - PPV show?

Bid Abdul let us know at the weekend that there has been serious discussions at Sky regarding the PPVs in 2015.

Nothing has been ruled out at this stage.

 

Brook v Rios in May, I'd be happy with that.

 

If Kell Brook wants to fight again in the next 7-11 weeks then the O2 on the 30th May is the obvious date and venue. I'm not convinced Brandon Rios would have the size and/ or power to cause Brook any major problems. It was only 6 fights ago that Bam Bam was challenging Richar Abril for his WBA lightweight would title - the exact same title Abril defends against Derry Mathews later this month. Rios did get the nod via a controversial split decision only to be denied the title by being 2 pound over at weight in.

 

Don't know if you have seen the Hearn interview on IFL TV but he has said that Rios wouldn't be possible for May 30th someone like Diego Chavez would be more likely

His bosses at Sky are looking at 30th May for the next PPV after Pac v Money and the Khan fight likely to be part of the package.

Hearn mentioned Antonin Decarie and Diego Chavez for the Mays show with Rios likely for July. Would be good seeing a world champion being so active and the Rios fight would be entertaining too.

 

Brooks needs some names on his CV or he's going to be the president of the who needs him. Did OK against Porter - i didnt think he did enough to win but hey ho...Now he needs to go and establish himself but time isnt on his side

 

hearn says in the ifl tv interview that he expects/wants rios in july so if kell is out in may expect a ****e fight......... dissapointing really, a **** fight followed by a decent name fight but one kell should win and then his mandatory again i assume, gavin lol

 

Chaves then rios is not that bad both are decent fighters and top 10 by many. Chaves was beating rios till he got dq. Drew with bradley so hes not a bum and rios we all know will come to fight though is limited. As i said neither great but they are decent fights and both can punch

 

Good fights in the space of 3 months. I don't think they will both happen though.
