Nonsense the kiltchko fight was entertaining as hell. Doesn't matter if you think he was over the hill, you said no entertaining fights he has won.

And how is AJ getting battered any more or less entertaining than AJ battering someone else the only way that can be is of your biased surely?

Yes both good fights to watch and very entertaining.

I never said AJ had never won an entertaining fight, I said he was more entertaining in defeat. But I was just trying to say his popularity is a bit confusing for me as a bit of a casual fan myself. In the end I never made that point and went a bit OTT.

I am not biased against him, but I am probably subject to recency bias, and I suppose i just prefer underdogs.

I blame Eddie Hearn for his fighter falling well below the level of greatness he claimed.

The soft matchmaking from day 1 was clearly to hide his shortcomings from the public in the pursuit of climbing the PPV Loot Mountain. This would always be his downfall in the end when he faced a live test against any fighter willing to throw leather.

If you don't live up to your deluded perceptions then the public laugh at you.

The real mugs are the public who bought into Hearn's sales pitch - all they had to do was watch the very limited British Level fighter Dillian Whyte wobble him during round 2 in 2015.

Surprised 9 years later, there are still people on here and out there who still link the name Joshua with ATG, elite and greatness.

This is no different to a barman pissing in your pint.

All things considered, Hearn has done a brilliant job with AJ.

Yes in terms of making piles of PPV loot from the mugs, selling him as the next coming of Ali when more closer to Danny Williams and the very low risk matchmaking, until he fought Usyk, to avoid him being found out while the gravy train was gathering speed.

You said the dubious fight was more exciting than the kiltchko fight. Na I disagree with that.

Yes the latter was exciting in that the old man nearly gave Team Humble a red face.

Imaging being on the brink of being defeated by a 41 year old man.

It was not long later when this happened to give him a beetroot face.

I don't think many would question that.

Hearn must take his part of the blame for the risk averse matchmaking if Joshua's goal was to become an ATG.

The Wilder Daffy Duck was there for all to see and it is lucky Tyson Luke Fury grew a pair and faced the man in his prime.

Hearn can't be blamed even if they are completely responsible for ducking Wilder and Fury. Wilder wasn't even that good, I am not sure how AJ would've been transformed into something else by sharing a ring with him. He shared a ring with Usyk and it hasn't transformed him.

If you are talking about legacy then you can argue they are all in the same boat, and the matchmaking in general causes them all to lose out legacy wise. What is Wilder's best scalp, Ortiz? Fury and AJs finest hours are what, against an old Wlad?

Poor era lacking elite level fighters until Usyk arrived.

Fury may have been elite if he lived the life but we will never know now.
