Eddie would have still made Burns v Crawford even if it wasn't a mandatory.

I think the notion of saying "Ricky is being used by Eddie" is somewhat ridiculous. Remember Burns went to Hearn, so you could argue that he's using Hearn to increase the general public's awareness and therefore make more money for himself.

The reality is that they use each other. It's how business works.

As for the last paragraph, I've no loyalty to any promoter. Hearn is the best of a pretty rotten bunch and even then he's a huge ****-taker.

I totally agree with you Genius, bad bad matchmaking of which Hearn is responsible.
The southpaw thing is the common denominator in the 3 poor performances, plus a broken jaw in between.
Lets be honest his move to Matchroom has been a disaster and moving to London is a smokescreen.

The move to matchroom has been a disaster for both Eddie and Burns IMO
You can't blame Eddie for the match making - Gonzalez and Beltran where supposed to be mandatory cannon fodder for a supposed dominate world champion but they were both made to look like Pernell Whitaker by Ricky...As for Ricky I'm pretty certain he will probably be regretting leaving Warrren who out of nowhere guided him to a world belt and seemingly was going to deliver him Vasquez...granted he might have lost but he could be a unified champ right now and ****** could have used all his experience to keep him out of danger as much as possible..who knows

I agree and that's what i meant about Eddie liking money, why would he look to get him beat when he is making him money.

    100% agree.

May have misinterpreted your words, so apologies for that. Didn't seem overly clear, but I get your point.

Frrank is tight with the WBO hence Him forking out to get Ricky his shot at the belt at home in the first place...he might have been able to find an escape route away from Crawford if he was still with Ricky who knows especially after having his jaw bust against Beltran...fact is Warrren had Vasquez lined up...we know the first date got canx but if it was all BS why would he go to the expense of rescheduling the date with Vasquez instead of just going the cheaper route and going with a mandatory like Hearn did...

As I said before, I've no problem with Hearn's matchmaking - Ricky just got found out that's all
