You can't blame Eddie for the match making - Gonzalez and Beltran where supposed to be mandatory cannon fodder for a supposed dominate world champion but they were both made to look like Pernell Whitaker by Ricky...As for Ricky I'm pretty certain he will probably be regretting leaving Warrren who out of nowhere guided him to a world belt and seemingly was going to deliver him Vasquez...granted he might have lost but he could be a unified champ right now and ****** could have used all his experience to keep him out of danger as much as possible..who knows

how can you not blame Hearn for the matchmaking he employs him, bottom line is Burns isn't anywhere as effective against southpaws and he got another one off Hearn.

You're reading into things that aren't there mate. He doesn't insinuate anything, in fact it appears only you've picked up on this insinuation, maybe that's because it isn't there.

I give Hearn a lot of stick on here when he deserves it but I'm not going to blame him because Burns wasn't good enough to deal with the tasks put infront of him. Gonzalez correct me if I'm wrong but not many were predicting that he would do much but he totally outboxed and rocked Ricky several times for 7 rounds then mysteriously decided to pullout...credit to Ricky even though I still maintain something fishy happened but anyway moving on....Beltran was an orthodox journeyman type..somebody a world champion should deal with at home....Ricky again exposed but hardly Hearns fault. Crawford...this is the only thing I slightly question whether Eddie could have done something else...as I said earlier I reckon Frrank would have used his experience to if not duck it completely then delay this fight for Ricky until after a complete softie to give himself the best chance to beat Crawford
Especially after the Bust jaw...we all knew he was going to get outclassed by him but by then he was locked in to face him

There was nothing mysterious about the Gonzalez fight at all, what it was Ricky prepared correctly for the fight, Jose came to Scotland heavy and IMO was weight drained and had no energy to continue.
It amazes me you can't understand when a fighter has a broken jaw people like you think they can still perform to there best, not possible mate.

Burns is doing well getting paid big bucks and putting on crap performances for the paying punter. If the punter keeps paying for such drivel Hearn/Burns will be happy to keep supplying it. Simmonds sells a lot of the tickets and Burns makes a mint of them. If fans never went in big numbers for one fight it would give Ricky a kick up the arse to produce better

Billy, not disputing the fact that the jaw obviously hampered his performance but correct me if I'm wrong but it was Raymondo's fists that caused the injury which I the name of the game so I'm not really sure what point your making TBH although I respect it considering your position in the game and formerly with Ricky.

As for Gonzalez, again you where involved to say the least but IMHO something didn't sit right about what took place and that was the opinion of a lot of the people who watched the fight at the time. you say he was weight drained but I don't recall any talk about that at the time. I also had trouble understanding how a relative nobody who's beating up a world champion on foreign land and on the verge of winning the belt which would change his life would jus suddenly gas out - but ok cool.

As I say he obviously never prepared correctly, I can assure you there was no injury involved, after the fight both fighters gave blood samples and there was no sign of injury whatsoever and I know for a fact hewas well overweight with a few days to go, even though there's ment to be test weight regularly
