It would be you that doesn't understand. No one cares about the lineal title. That's why only Tyson Fury brings it up. Also, Fury is a fraud who has never defended a belt. He also lost all his belts, drank, did coke, faked mental illness, got busted for PEDs, came back to beat a bunch of bums, went 1-0-1 with Wilder and STILL hasn't defeated a belt. That's why this fight is not selling well and the PPV will flop. Praise him all you like but the fact remains. He has never defended a belt and he has only one victory over anyone in the top 15 right now. Those are facts

 

Again, if he fought more than ONE guy in the current top 15, then we would already have out answer. Instead, hes fought Seferi, Schwarz, Pianeta and a host of other bums. That's the same thing Wilder has been doing

Fury of course had proven that he might have other priorities rather than boxing after marquee fight and win.

However, like Fury or not, he was legit champ and today is legit champ.
Fury did thing relatively rare in modern pro boxing: he while being from U.K had won title fight in Germany on judges cards vs big name in german and world boxing scene. He then already had proven that he is able to fight on foreign soil, thing huge bunch with modern boxers never had did during all their pro career.

He also had fights in US and this again proves that he is more interesting than bunches with " I fight only in my home country " boxers.

Likes Fury or no, he is legit boxer.

Joshua has beaten nothing but senior citizens and pulled out of the negotiations against Fury when Fury announced the fight. He was found out when he cherrypicked Ruiz and it went wrong, he'll get found out again, if he gets the balls to step in the ring with Tyson Fury or undisputed slick southpaw champion Oleksandr Usyk LOL

 

This one title fight a year crap got old last year.

Now we have to go nine or 10 months deep into this year to see Wilder, Fury and Joshua in the ring?

There were a couple years - from 1983 to 1985 - that I lost interest in boxing and really didn't follow the sport at all. That moment is fast approaching again.

Fury has wasted about four years total (if not more) of his own prime screwing around. Now he's dragging everyone else down with him.

If Hearn wasn't being a complete dick and they actually offer Wilder the Whyte fight, I say take it. Become the WBC champ. The winner of Joshua-Usyk fights the Wilder-Whyte fight in December.

At this point, Fury is beginning to become uninsurable. He really blew it with forcing Wilder to go to arbitration, publicly agreeing to fight Joshua when they had a deal to fight Wilder, and then when that's finally resolved his WHOLE TEAM basically blowing their Covid tests two weeks before the long delayed fight because they didn't get fully vaccinated.

I'm sick of talking about heavyweight boxing for two goddamn years when nobody is fighting.

Everyone can't wait around for one guy to get his act together. Let Fury wander around the casinos in his robe coughing on everyone. The other fighters need to move ahead with their careers.

I'm the biggest fan of the heavyweights there is ... but I'm just about done with this whole group.
