Is Hearns more iconic than Hagler?

Hearns had 7 fights against legit legends which were superfights. Cuevas,2 Leonard,Benitez,Duran,Hagler, Hill. Hagler had 3- Duran,Hearns,Leonard. Hearns had bigger fights and it spread over a longer period. 11 years for Hearns, 4 years for Hagler.

 

I think it's Tommy (as much as I love The Marvelous One). One punch KO power up there with the best. Longer career than Marvin, dominance across more weight classes, only guy to KO Duran.

 

I have them 19 and 20 on my top 50 ATG p4p list. I have Hearns slightly higher even though he lost to hagler because of resume and Career span.

 

interesting question. Hearns fought more great fighters at different weights so you know where to place him and his greatness. Hagler never moved up like Hearns did and probably would not have done as well as Hearns moving up. Hearns is more iconic. Hagler was a great middleweight, but Hearns was multiweight,multichamp just fought everywhere and everyone. Hagler did well at his weight class, but Hearns had more versatility to fight different styles and weights and his fight films are historic. Look at that iceveins video. Tommy was unreal.
