Joshua once again proved that he is a stiff mechanical robot with poor footwork, no upper body movement and no combination punching that will badly struggle against fighters who can move. Wilder might be the best heavyweight currently (because it is still unclear that Fury can get back to his 2015 form) and Wilder can't throw a punch with the proper technique, he just windmills like a spastic but at least unlike Joshua he is somewhat unpredictable. He will also struggle against fighters that move well. And that's why the heavyweight division is the worst currently in my opinion.

yes, its going through a mediocre phase at the moment. It will go back to prestige though. And no Joshua will never be the global star his cuck followers want him to be.

it always is and always has been. even in the supposed glory years of the 70s.

when you rely that much on sheer strength, size and power you naturally abandon the sweeter skills.

    It’s the only division!

As Don King said there’s two weight classes in boxing - heavyweights and then the rest.

    Pretty exciting right now.
    What will happen next?

AJ vs Wilder in the UK?
Wilder vs Whyte in the US?
AJ vs Povetkin in the UK?

What happens to Ortiz and Parker after losing to Wilder and AJ?

    Miller will fight in May.

Ruiz Jr back in business. Really underrated fighter imo.

Some really good amateurs stepping up like Joyce, Demirezen or Hrgovic

It'll get better. Tyson Fury coming back, Usyk and Gassiev moving up. There's some quality prospects like Hrgovic, Dychko, Teslenko, Joyce, Kuzmin.

Absolutely, always has been. Technically deficient and contrary to popular belief most HW bouts lack action and are sloppy yawn fests, with very little skill or desire on display. Always a lack of depth as well, hence constant mismatches, you can count on one hand the guys that are quality and can give each other good fights.

The vast majority of boxing fans simply cannot appreciate a division without a fighter they're particularly partial to.

I for one have little interest in the lowest weight divisions below FW but not for lack of American fighters at/near the top, but moreso for too many turnovers of the titles and the elites almost never sharing the ring.

For me, the WEAKEST DIVISION is SMW.

The top dawg is Zurdo who is elite for sure, but is too big to work on getting better because he has to spend so much time keeping his weight down.
Caleb Truax is holding a major title ffs and won it from a legit titlist.
GG is A level but not the type of talent to get ppl tuning in.

Also, 140 is far more incomplete than HW.

I feel like the K2 spoiled us with the way they were always in shape and barely list rds vs any and all comers.

There are plenty of great HWs and just as many close fights that can be done.

I agree that it is pretty exciting right now. Those that say it isn't, end up watching the big heavyweight clashes anyway lol, so I guess theres a bit of uncertainty for some.

Ortiz and Povetkin would be good.

I like every division from minimumweight to HW. No preference.
