Is Hector Camacho an All Time Great

    No. He's hall of fame level undoubtedly, but I wouldn't put him near an all time top 100, for instance.

    Not sure where the Castillo comparison comes from. Camacho is 2 or 3 levels above Castillo, IMHO.

    no way. He lost all of his major fighs. An ATG you can match up with any other ATG and there is a question who will win. He never proved much. How can he be ATG.

    Huh? Rosario? Edwards? Pazienza? Ramirez (who a year later beat Sweet Pea and nearly drew with Chavez)? And he was robbed of a draw with Haugen for stupid bull**** that nobody else has ever been penalized for in the history of boxing. Plus he beat old Leonard and Duran.

    Prime Camacho was at 130 - 140 and was a beast there. Past prime and overweight, he still challenged the best and mostly lost, and still was able to beat a bunch of good but not great fighters.

    There are a lot of 'what ifs' with Camacho, like what if he'd been disciplined and had been able to stay at lower weights. But he was still able to accomplish a ton despite probably not living up to his full potential.

    No, it he had stayed on course, yes, but as of now, no way.
