Folks, Like Hector Camacho or not, he has had a successful boxing career and sports a respectable boxing record..... He is also a former TWO division WBC champion at 130 & 135 pounds, and also a belt holder of titles' like the WBO and IBC in other divisions later in his career....... Has he done enough since turning pro in 1980 to be a Hall of Famer? :huh:good:deal MR.BILL:hat
Uh...yeah. It's Macho Time, baby! Well, not right now because he just fought in 2008 but it will be Macho time.
Yes. But I guess most people under 30y/o will not think so. But for those of us who got to see him at his prime, I say yes! And he was a real showman too. He brought a lot of new fans to boxing with all his crazyness.
I agree......... I'd vote for Camacho all the way.......:good:thumbsup MR.BILL:deal Note: When Camacho beat the **** outta a fading 29 year old Bazooka Limon in 1983, Camacho was the fastest dude I have ever seen shy of Bruce Lee...... WORD!
Maybe if it was the drag queen Hall of Fame. Camacho was vastly overrated. What's his biggest wins? A win over a shopworn Leonard? A gift decision against an ancient Duran? A gift decision against Rosario in which he ran all night? Not to mention he was beaten to a pulp against De La Hoya, Trinidad and Chavez. Sorrry, but he hasn't done enough to warrant an induction.
