I'm reading pro-Hennessy posts... but mainly anti-Hennessy posts.

    a) He lost the negotiations with Dibella and now Froch is travelling there
    b) That no travel arrangments for fans has been sorted
    c) Ticket allocation has been a farce i.e. none for UK fans
    d) The promotion has been non-existent
    e) Now we cant even see it on TV

I think he's doing his best personally, but its all gone to pot for him lately.

Then I read about Witter's comments that he never put a Bradley-fight rematch clause in the contract. Then i read John Murray is also fed up from having no fights.

It's all Tyson Fury at the moment it would seem.

Has the guy got no luck or what at the minute? poor sod.

Or like others write, he's not doing right by his fighters ?

Personally i think some of shows are bloody great, with loads of good undercards. When compared to other promoters especially !

He's small time. That's his problem, he's a domestic/European level promoter and a few guys have outgrown him. Promoters are just like boxers, they all have their levels.

I don't know really, can't tell yet. The TV deal has really pissed me off. What I think it is, Hennessy is thinking that Froch is a big name in everybodys eyes, but hes not, they missed a trick after the Pascal fight in promoting Froch alot more. I mean the fight was said to be a classic by many?!Hennessy should start putting the fans first though, but for no TV support, I think thats pretty ****ing poor by the broadcasters.

Froch is our only legitimate world champ, its disgraceful that this fight is not live on the telly.

A deal needed to be struck ages ago, it all looks very poorly organised now, makes hennessy look a bit wank tbh.

The only thing i like about hennesey is that a lot of his shows are on ITV4 so mainstream get a chance to see what is going on.
Poor form in not getting a clause for a rematch for the bradley fight though.

I'm with TFFP here..... Hennessy, whilst being a very good promoter, but always seems to miss a trick somewhere.

What concerns me is that it seems to be different ones each time.... Murray - inactive, Witter - inactive, Froch - no TV, etc etc

i can see Froch moving on. May sign with Warren or maybe one of the american promoters. I think the best thing for him to do would be to team up with Haye and get in on the Hayemaker act. that way he has decent level fighters to fill his undercards, and will be able tpo control his career.

I think Hennessey has got Froch's best interests at heart but you'd have to say that this situation has become shambolic. He seems to have made all the wrong decisions. Maybe it's lack of experience of promoting the big fights.

Hayemaker would be no good for him. At this stage of his career he needs a promoter who has a track record of putting on big fights. Doubt the top American ones would be very interested in him though.

    1) He didn't lose the negotiations. He could have easily had a normal defence in Nottingham. As it is, they are looking at the bigger picture in terms of legacy and future purses. They are doing what Haye has done with Wlad. Froch is a true warrior. I'm sure Froch is going to be paid well given that he is a champ and on Showtime.

    2) I've seen numerous packages being offered so fans aren't in the lurch. If they want to go, it's possible.

    3) Don't know about this but it would be bad if none ha dbeen allocated.

    4) It's been an American promotion and it does exist. Nothing over here cos it's not even on ****ing TV.

    5) An absolute joke. Can't even describe how bad this is. They see the bigger picture of going to America but whats the point if no one sees it. They need to see the bigger picture and give this fight to ITV1 for a decent price.

that would be Warren only. And Froch knows if he signs with Warren hes not going to be fighting the likes of Taylor, Bute, Kessler, Abraham any time soon.

I don't see Froch signing with Warren any quicker than Ricky Hatton will to be honest.

Warren has been eyeing up Froch for a while if you read between the lines, but Carl's disparaging remarks regarding Frank's title make it unlikely.
