Agree with this. Hayemaker has some top domestic propects, and known talent, but no clout on the world scene as yet. Froch need a top promoter like Warren, as although he has a cautious approach, maybe he is softening as he gets older e.g. allowing Khan to step up in class. calculated risks yes, but risks he would not normally take nonetheless

Froch might not like it, but Warren is the best promoter for him at this stage. He's the only one with the contacts, the financial clout and track record of promoting big fights on a world class level.

We can all sit here and bash Warren, but he's proven he can make fights that his fighter barely even deserves. Khan against MAB. Khan against Kotelnik at 140. Enzo Mac vs Haye.

Put it this way, this would have a TV deal if Warren promoted it.

    Amen indeed.

I think the reason Warren is frowned upon is that he has the clout, and people don't like that, but he is the man at this moment in time.
And hey Britain have a world champion at the end of the day, surely that is enough to merit some ****er putting it on the tv

Frank Warren brought Mike Tyson to the UK "dammit", which was the biggest thing since the beatles coming back from the USA.

    Iron Mike Tyson.

Like ****ing what...? Mike Tyson had women protesting up and down the country.

He had debate's kicking off in the houses of parliement, he got more people on the streets where ever he went, more than Nelson Mandela and Muhammad Ali.

    Just one man.

Off the top off my head bigger events since the return of the beatles and the arrival of Mike. Poll tax riots, falklands war, miners strike, death of Diana, the visit of pope John Paul the second. Euro 1996 was a bigger national event as well. I could probably list a lot more.

I think you should read a little about modern British history.

Of course and "Free Diedre Rashid" the prime minister himself in the house of commons asked the home secretary to intervene. The tyson decision was left purely to immigration officials.
