Need a bit of clarity here. Is the ITV contract torn up or is it up at the end of the year?

    End of the year.

No idea if Froch is going to be on though.

Right, so Thaxton v Murray on Oct 3 - in theory is on ITV right? Now the Froch v Dirrell fight is a 2amish fight for US tv, I'm praying that ITV, Sky and not a Hennessy stream pick this up.

I know it's a tiresome topic but Mick needs to be pulling his finger out here.

Mick needs to be prepered to LOSE money for this fight I think, just to get him on live telly.

I'm kinda hoping that Sky, as reported, are involved in the Super Six tourney and do a double-header with AA v JT and then Froch v Dirrell. No-one from Sky has came out and denied their involvement since it was reported in the presser for the event.

sky are 100% not involved at this stage.

id be suprised if itv dont have right to all hennesey shows that are in the uk.

it would make sense for mick to show froch in ITV along with taylor vs abraham one last time. then get him on sky box office for kessler and abraham.

If that does happen it would be the best card of boxing ITV has ever done since god knows when and just seems crazy to be leaving the sport alone after that.... oh well then.

Dont forget that a rerun of Touch of Frost gets 50% more viewers than Froch Pascal did and that was at prime time.

I hope they pick it up but have my doubts.

I maybe wrong, but i think a broadcaster has to make a commitment to the whole tournament. Something ITV is unlikely to do.

    Not at 2am it doesnt.

So all the reports of Sky being the UK network involved with Showtime, ARD and the Danish lot are untrue?

Sky has nothing to do with this tourney and i don't think they'll be showing it.

I fear that the revolution won't be televised.

Mainly because fat Henny is in charge of getting the UK rights and we all know that he's completely devoid of qualities requisite for effective conduct and action in this department. in other words he's incompetant and would rather his fighters didn't get on tv at all if the pathetic demands weren't met.
