I am GGG fan for a few years now and I think he will win this fight! Everyone I talk though, boxers, boxing experts or fans are picking Canelo to outbox or make GGG even quit. I still think GGG will come in best shape and motivation for this fight.

GGG by TKO in round 6 or 7!!

There is no quit in GGG or Canelo so whoever picks one of these two to stop fighting and give up just DKSAB and I'm no expert....LOL

GGG by TKO mid 10th or 11th

GGG Can win that's why he's the slight favorite. I just think Canelo can outbox him and take it on the cards.

Speed and youth vs experience and heavy hands. I think the youth will eke out the W

LOL ofc GGG has a huge chance, but the only way to get the win is the KO. There is no ****ing way for Golovkin to get the decision just because of the judges. We saw what happen'd the last time when an american based fighter faced a russian guy in USA.

It's wrong, sad but true, ggg can only win by tko or multiple kd's. If the round is 2 guys fighting evenly expect that to be 10/8 canelo round. The kovalev fights scoring was atrocious . Find me 5 clearly ward rounds and ill show you 9 clear for kovalev, but there's only 12 total rounds,

    EXACTLY
    , and ward's a chump to canelo

Of course Triple G has a chance. I think chances are this fight will go the distance because both guys have a really good chin and don't get hit all that much. That doesn't mean I think it's going to be a dull fight or anything, I'm expecting both guys to land big punches but I can see both guys being ultra prepared and in top shape. And for those that say that Triple G can't win a decision, well they may be right, but that's becuase Canelo is similar to Floyd in a lot of ways in that he's so defensively sound and has such good hand speed that it's hard to win rounds against him. Though I do think Triple G can win rounds if he can stick to the jab and basically out volume Canelo and be the aggressor. Canelo has been known to feel his opponent out early, which could give Triple G an opportunity to win some early rounds. Chances are we're going to see a controversial decision, which is fine with me as long as it's an entertaining fight. If someone gets knocked out, that will be a huge surprise because neither guy has ever been close to being stopped. Of course anything's possible, you can't underestimate Triple G or Canelo.

How confident are you that Triple G can stop Canelo : How do you rate Canelo's chin and defensive blocking / slipping of punches?

You must not have been on the few days after the fight was announced. Every post was how GGG will demolish Canelo haha

50/50 fight for me, I think Canelo will outbox him but if he gets stuck on ropes he's in trouble and it's bound to happen with canelo slow feet and GGG pressure

He's gotten stuck on the ropes in past fights and has been able to stay there and block and slip punches effectively. I agree that he wants to keep the fight at center ring vs Triple G, but he's certainly capable of defending himself on the ropes, more so than someone like Danny Jacobs who was a bigger target for Triple G.

I think Canelo will end up on the ropes at some point. He's always been there in his other fights and he likes to lean on the ropes as a sort of "third leg". Additionally, Golovkin is always trying to force his opponent into the ropes.

What really matters is how Canelo does when on the ropes. If he can duck, slip, block, and counter-punch successfully, he'll be fine, but he can't let himself get tagged flush too often.
