Is here anyone except me who believes that GGG has a chance?

Canelo is one of the better fighters off the ropes.

If GGG can stay just on the outer edge of Canelo's flashy combos ( in other words control the distance) and work off a stiff double jab he will win . If GGG is too aggressive he will be playing right into Canelo's hands and he will be countered all night long and will be made to look slow and old .

Personally i believe Canelo schools GGG for the above reasons, imo GGG has the perfect style to make canelo look amazing,

Not confident at all. I know Canelo will be dropped, but I highly doubt a KO will take place. He has an A level chin, his blocking/slipping worked well against most but Lara was tagging him practically at will. GGG isn't a southpaw but he will have a reach advantage, footwork advantage and power advantage. That should do the trick. Canelo has judges, ref, venue, crowd, youth and high level experience. Plus he has a real coach in his corner instead of a glorified mouthpiece.

Canelo has good skills , he throws nice combos but he doesn't go anywhere after throwing. He's right there to be hit and he isn't big enough or strong enough to tussle with Triple G.
The power is going to crush him. Ive seen nothing on his ledger to suggest he can slug it out with Golovkin.

Only way Canelo wins is if Golovkin's game plan is to out box him. He'll need to turn up like an animal like he said after the Jacobs fight

    Prime GGG stops Canelo.

Current GGG hasn't slipped very much and is still the clear favourite.

But it is a bit more interesting now.

It could even go the distance (unlikely).

And As Kov found out, that's not a good omen for the foreign fighter.

Canelo is going down in the 1st round and stopped within 3.
Has Canelo ever fought a puncher before?

Don't hold your breath, one mistake by Canelo & his youth ,speed evaporates as GGG takes him apart in quick fashion, in the words of someone I forget ..."we dont **** around" lol

True but that has to be the last place anyone in the ring with GGG would want to be however good your ringcraft is, you'd be giving GGG a gift?

Yup. You DONT want to be on the ropes against GGG. That's where he gets to play all his little games mixing up his shots and power and not even the ultra-durable Murray had an answer for him there. GGG will dig them to the body if Canelo slips his shots too well and on the ropes Saul has nowhere to retreat to.

Crazy as it may sound the best place for Alvarez will be in the pocket where he can hopefully crowd Golovkin, make him miss and make him pay. Alvarez has to take his reach away or Golovkin's jab will smash him to bits.

I think Canelo will make it a fight till about 6 and then start fading. I'm taking Golovkin by late stoppage.
