Is Holyfield the only debuting LHW in history who would give Lewis fits?

Would any other fighter who started pro at LHW or lower in the history of the sport give Lennox Lewis one of his toughest fights? Regardless of their weight plan. Or is Holyfield the only one?

Edit: Updated title from "natural" to "debuting"

Spinks and Byrd could give him big problems if they fought a smart fight.

Spink s maybe. If he catches s older slower Lewis ,who maybe takes him lightly. Spink s style could cause Lewis a Good few problems.Lewis could find him self behind on the score cards.

I was going to say Qawi but the way Lewis was allowed to clinch i have my doubts. Without being able to lean all over him things would be interesting IMO.

    I wouldn't call Holyfield "A natural LHW."

Like Leon Spinks he fought at 178 lbs in the Olypics but then he grew into CW quite nicely.

Maybe, he was a natural CW, but not LHW.

He looked natural at 190-195 lbs.

Did lennox ever fight a southpaw? A prime michael moore could give him problems because of the style matchup. Kind of depends on which lennox shows up: the aggressive, guns blazing lennox of the briggs/golota fights likely stops moore within 4-5 rounds after making adjustments to the southpaw stance.

The passive, cautious, points oriented lennox would be in for a rough night. When Moore was on fire, he was highly competitive with a high workrate and lennox hated having to fight at a high pace up close unless it was his choice.

Holy was a natural cruiser/heavy. Stop, just stop with this nonsense.

And the version that "gave Lewis trouble" was 215-217, 6 foot 3 with a 78" reach.
