watched that count down series and the way they make it seem its as if Pavliks power wont be a factor at the higher weight. I disagree especially when you consider the Age factor his one shot power might not be there but his work rate will be there and he will still have some serious pop in those shots, Hopkins will fade in this fight as he did in his fight with Calzaghe and that is when he gets stopped. I dont see this fight going to the cards time has caught up to B Hop and taking this fight though its respectable what Hopkins is doing its also very stupid.
No way. Pavlik, when he has an opponent hurt, isn't the type to swing for the fences looking for the KO. He patiently stays behind the jab and cross, taking his time. That's why he isn't gonna stop B-Hop. Calzaghe fought at an ENTIRELY different pace than Pavlik does.
I do not think so but it is possible if kelly can land some clean shots. I am a fan of both but I think it would be pretty amazing if Kelly can even drop him.
Hopkins has a better chin than anybody Pavlik's ever fought and gets hit a lot less too. I'd be very surprised if he gets stopped.
I don't think he's going to get stopped because of his boxing savvy, he's good at rolling with the punches. But anything can happen. He's getting old.. fast.
not ko but will lose a close SD like every other recent fight he has had..will be ugly and debateable
Hopkins gonna shortcut and double cross him across the naked pale skull and breaking some hearts in the process. I want to see Kelly get in position ( with his feet) to follow up his left lead without taking a flush right himself... Actually, this is an important fight for me and not just because I proudly love Bernard, I want to picture this one having the Taylor-Pavlik fight in mind, and prove that mind can and will be over matter ( Pavlik and Taylor together). Oh Boy, We gonna have a Holy Ghost explosion Sat nite!
Yea Hopkins is going down, he cant fight the way he say's he can , he will really struggle with a prime fighter landing flush accurate shots all night, cant really see how hopkins can win!
