He has decent speed, but in differs in fights.
Recently against Tarver and Pavlik he seemed fast, but against ornelas and RJJ he seemed to lose that lil bit of handspeed. (Pretty dangerous considering those were his last two fights)

His lead right hand was just as good as Floyd's IMO. He used to pop shot from time to time and great at doing it. It does worry me haven't seen that type of speed on his for awhile. He looked good vs Jermaine and JoeCal for awhile, but Bhops has to be fighting at his pace to read and time those shots. Taylor and JoeCal were basically swarming on him not giving him the shots he wanted. Pascal this time might be too much for Bhops, but if anything even if he can't win, he does know how to survive.

He's not really that fast with his hands in terms of physical speed. What he has in abundance and is underrate, which is even better then just being athletically fast. Is he has great timing and positioning. And sets up his punches really well.

I think you can find lesser fighters then Hopkins, who have better handspeed then him. But not his timing and precision.
