    Really?

    Segundo Mercado 1 & 2
    Baptist
    Aquino
    Joppy
    Johnson

Also if you thought his fight with Pascal was boring then I have no hope for you. I find it hard to believe that so many guys know so little of Hopkins' aggressiveness during his reign.

You must have just started watching boxing because Hopkins didnt start getting boring till towards the end of his career maybe like in the last 7 years... He was fairly exciting to watch early on and during most of his mw title reign.l

Yeah this is the only fight of his that i can actually watch in it's entirety. I must admit I didn't see any of his fights prior to the first Jones fight, but I think I've seen enough.

Then you're blind. An all-time great masterclass performance stares you in the face and you don't see much talent. Good one.

Anyone who doubt Hopkins talent and legacy should stop watching boxing. U can hate on the man but not the great fighter that he is.

Maybe you havent seen many of his title fights where he throws 12 punches a rd for 8 rds/ Bhop is indeed horribly boring to watch at times.

After Joppy he slowed down. He fought safety first in the third fight with Allen(pointless fight I admit) but he wasn't trying to blow his chance to face DLH so I understand that. The people that think Hopkins always worried about his stamina don't know anything about his prime which occured 95-03. His fights with Mercado & Johnson were very fan friendly as was even his first fight with Pascal. I also recommend his fights with Brown, Aquino, and his fights with Echols for those who know nothing of his prime.

Oh I did! He had his share of boring fights but he also had masterpiece performances. Johnson wasn't the fighter he became later in his career but Hopkins performance against him was highly impressive and that's just one out of many. Nothing new for u I'm sure that's why this thread doesn't make sense.

The question isn't whether Hopkins is any good. Of course he is. The question is whether he is the most boring boxer in history.

I can't remember who it was, but in another thread someone was recalling when they went to a fight - Hopkins came on after the main event, and everyone left. They didn't even want to stay and watch even though they had already paid for the tickets.

Yes, Hopkins is terribly boring, and has been for a long, long time. But he is skilled.

Watching Hopkins is watching History. He is the perfect non perfect at anything,

  15. Hopkins is the completely opposite of boring to real hardcore boxing fans.
