....thats the only worry for BHop, he may grow old overnight, otherwise if this fight was 6 years ago it would most likely be Hopkins by MURDER

hopkins was very fresh finishing the wright fight last time out, which is why this will be a hard fight for calzaghe.

hopkins does not throw a lot of punches because he is a saftey first fighter , who refuses to take chances to score with a punch , thats why his workrate is low and not because he is to old or does not have the stamina.

sORRY M8, A East London boy here, Im just not as foolish buying into Frank Warrens well managed fighters. Isnt it amazing that Calzaghe waits till BHop is 43 before deciding to fight a HOF guy.?????

ummmmm sounds very Frank Warren to me.

You imagine Warren letting Hatton fight Mayweather in Vegas under his managerial bandwagon. lol

Still, it does seem like you're crying it in. :good

"Hopkins by murder" The only thing he's murdered in the past six years is entertainment.

man alright he may be Warren based fighter and he may not have fought at the level he should have done if he was to be classed a legend, but the guy has skills, he's a superb boxer, and in all fairness everyone knows Hopkins ducked Joe 6 years ago, its knowledge. f**king hate people on this site who dont give boxers who work there whole life to try and be successful the full credit they deserve.

How many fights has Calzaghe pulled out of since? Before now he's been content with being a big fish in a very small pond. Five years ago he wasn't in a position to dictate where a fight happened with any of our name fighters. Five years ago the UK fans as a whole didn't give two shits about Calzaghe. It wasn't until he beat an overhyped US fighter in Lacy that all these rabid Calzaghe fans started popping up. :deal

He would have been 38 at the time.

Hopkins threw more punches than 35 years old Wright in his last fight and was the fresher of the two at the end.

Age will not be a factor.

I suspect some Calzaghe fans will complain that Joe was not at his natural weight after the fight. Because Bernard will manhandle him big time in there.
