1/ disinterested on his stool from rnd 1 to 12.

2/ Looked lost when hit and Breidas was there to be hit the entire fight,he wasn't dealing with Ali footwork. When you don't throw punches anyone looks good

3/ Knew he needed a k.o and one judge gave him 5 rnds which is insane in itself...and his cornerman wanted to win the fight more than he did.

4/ Overly happy after the fight..about what I don't know ?..I would want to get out of the ring as quick as I could if I fought like that in my back yard.

Hes a shot fighter if I saw one.

Done at top level but probably still a good fight for most of the division (which unfortunately for Huck is an excellent division). I wouldn't say totally shot but certainly past prime. All the same, it's still a good win for Briedis

There are serveral factor's why it seems that Huck is declining.

    1. Huck already had a long career he is only 32 but is a professional since 2004 it's nine years ago since he fought the first time for a belt (and lost).

    2. Huck's fighting style is based on refelxes, stamina and athletic all this things decline faster in age.

    3. Huck ins't very intelligent he can't adapt in fights, can't see weaknesses.

    4. He needs a strong Coach who tell's him what he has to do ( like Wegner) not everyone can train Huck

    5. His management has no expierience. Kenan Huck (his brother and manager) isn't very intelligent too

I doubt any Huck would ever have beaten Breidis. Younger Huck would have opened up more and got knocked out. He knew this and thats why his goal was to last the distance without taking too much punishment.

Going to war with Breidis would have taken even more miles off his clock . He obviously can and wants to come again. He can earn plenty more pay checks against the same level of bum he's been clubbing out over the last 4-5 years.

Holy F! Huck is younger than I am, someone asked me what age he was on saturday, I told them about 37.

This confirms it for me, Huck is either shot to sh!t or does a good job of impersonating a boxer who is.

Also, Briedis does deserve some praise for his composure but I don't think another top cruiser lets Huck finish.

He was born 11th of November 1984 so 32 years. But you are right he looked older on saturday.
Briedis also is a top 5 Cruiserweight who would give even Usyk some problems.

But the main problem for Huck is the lack of technique and intelligence together with the fact that he is ageing and getting slower that's the reason he will have huge problems in the next years if he continues fighting
