    Again the 4 weeks thing is overstated. Holmes knew the fight was coming. He was interviewed in Tysons prior fight and had boxed 15 rounds prior to the fight. Mercer was a gold medalist and undefeated when Holmes beat him. Holmes was also 4 years older. You dont get better at that age no matter how serious you are. Holmes fought total bums prior to Mercer worse than the guy he boxed the exhibtion against before Tyson. Your just buying into the lame excuse Holmes used for getting completely blown out for the first and only time in his entire career pre and post comeback!
