Is Inoue’s success due to him or his opposition?

Nery was wide open, any top fighter p4p would have toyed with him.

He's clearly legit but it's also clear there's nobody close to his weight that can beat him, not even sure if there's anyone that could make it competitive, he's head and shoulder above anyone at 122 and probably 126.

If that’s the case how come none of Inoue’s opposition are ever mentioned amongst the best in the world yet Canelo and Crawford have both fought people who were consider top p4p in the world prior to fighting them?

A little of both he's great but his opposition is nowhere near elite just the best fighters in weak divisions. He doesn't have any rigos or lomas down there who would really test him. Not his fault but it can't be overlooked either.

Tank has Loma in his divion amongst others and has avoided them all and i dont see you criticizing him. I understand it cause Inoue is an ATG while Yank is a 30 year old prospect so i understan why you have higher standards for Inoue.

Four division champ, undisputed in two of them, is 22-0 (20 KOs) in title fights which is very rare and he has beaten loads of world champions. Crawford fans pooping on Inoue's resume is comical and don't forget Inoue has had 13 less fights than Crawford

Crawford's best wins Spence, Postol, Gamboa, and Porter are no better than Inoue's best wins. I don't care that Spence was top #5 P4P because he didn't deserve that high a ranking and he's forged a career cleaning out 147 of all its career 140 pounders.

Crawford and Canelo haven't had to fight each other. Quite rare you get champions that dominant in the same weight class.

It is crystal clear that Inoue is special. Some people dont like that hes small or that hes Japanese, but he's the singular best boxer in the world.

He hasn't much in terms of big names, but if you do what he's done in four divisions you're doing something very right. A shame that he has to go up three! weight classes to find any bigger names.

He's a true warrior, though, so I wouldn't put that past him.

Sorry, I missed this post. At least the second one I missed today

Cool thanks. Inoue knows that England is the jewel in the crown of the tiny majestic Isle of Great Britain and the creative hub of the universe and God's own land. He also knows that British fans are the best in the world. Be great for him to grace us with his presence.

Unless he's referring to his amateur career, he hasn't actually fought in England yet. He fought up the road in Scotland against Rodriguez.

Btw, if you hear anything in the upcoming weeks about what the fight night weights of Inoue and Nery were tonight please let me know. Cheers

What is wrong with people when it comes to this fighter? It's like they can't compute it or something.

Naoya has been fighting top top top divisional guys since 2014. He's been fighting divisional number ones since 2014. For ten years. They aren't particularly stunningly brilliant but they were the best in their divisions. He absolutely poleaxed these world champion professional fighters, it was extremely easy for him, he'd been a pro a few months.

These posts of confusion "is he this" or "could he do that" they are ridiculous. Just go on boxrec and click on the names you don't recognise on his record and learn about the people he's been beating. Then you won't have to make these awful threads that make you look an ass and make this forum look a backwater.
