Pacquiao no head movement? What in the **** is wrong with their eyes. Inoue never moved his head more in his life than this. A lot of fans these days only remember a 35 year old Pacquiao who threw 500 punches a fight and didn't knock anyone out. They don't remember THE REAL PAC. This content is protected
Most era's don't get a Pacquiao, so for another to come along so soon and make a mockery of the idea that weight matters is highly unlikely. Inoue would need to go to 135 and beyond to be on that type of level that Pac achieved and I just don't see that happening.
He's a great for sure, but pac was such a marvel. Inoue seems more like just an atg fighter. I guess for me the distinction is I can see WHY Inoue hits so hard. He's cut as **** and his technique and shot selection is perfect. He's an great fighter. Pac and Roy Jones and foreman they just make it look so effortless and do it while breaking boxing orthodoxy. They're PHENOMS, whereas I see Inoue as a great fighter. Like sugar ray Leonard or pretty boy era Mayweather or Erik Morales. So I would say Inoue is closer to a Japanese sugar ray Leonard than pac man but obviously either is fine company to be in.
Sowee, mate. No Engrish. My pt is he is fighting ten pin bowling opposition that go flying every where on impact lol.But i do acknowledge he is a great fighter.I am just saying his opps is weak AF.
Pacquiao's a genetic freak along with being a high level pool, chess & darts player, dude does it all.
No Inoue hasn't beaten any top 10 P4P fighters, Pacquiao literally dominated Barrera who was P4P number 3, Inoue has no win close to that.
Yeah Pac was like the energizer bunny never stopped moving, including head movement. I don't think Lesion of Doom was saying Pac didn't move his head, it's just Pac is more up right and didn't bend from the waist like Inoue does. Pac tends to bend more at the knee to dip to one side or the other to move his head, usually while stepping in, with minimal waist movement involved. Head movement for Pac was less about defence and more about slipping past his opponents leads to get close enough to land his own shots. When he needed to be defensive he didn't rely on head move as much, usually just tried to jump back or lean back, or adopt and high guard but later in his career after the Morales loss, he started to step off to the side more as he incorporated more lateral movement. Inoue in contrast bends at the waist usually to his right to move his head off the line and for him it's often to slip into a position to throw a counter. Both move their head plenty but it different ways.
Don't see it. Pacquiao was hurting 160+ Margarito. Margarito almost fell down at one point. Don't see Inoue doing that at all.
I mean at the lower weights... Guys are reacting terribly to Inoue's power shots in ways that Pac never did in the lower weights.
He won't go through as many division as Pacquiao, because he did not start as a skinny, unrefined boy. He was ready and pushed for the championship quickly, like the Japanese fighters are expected to. Stylistically they are very different as well. Pacqiao being 8 division champion always impressed me less than than the fantastic amount of great names he has on his resume. Inoue might not be able to get that, simply because there are none around (Gonzales, Estrada, and Ioka refused to face him as far as I know, him being extremely high risk-no reward during his time at Flyweight.) There is the Donaire I win that aged very well, and then a drop, that he has to make up for in sheer statistical dominance. Perhaps Cordina or somebody at 130 can cement himself if (big if) Inoue goes that high and can still pull of miracles.
Yeah, Pac had a ton of power, it's just he was fighting much bigger men a lot of the time, his straight left hand was a hell of a punch, had JMM down 4 times in total and JMM had a hell of a chin. Inoue might not have any punch as hard as Pac's straight left, but what he does have is far greater variety, he's can KO you with either hand and unlike Pac and is also a lethal body puncher. Plus he's a counter puncher, so he doesn't have to hit as hard as Pac in terms of raw power because he is more likely to set opponents up to walk into big counters or leave themselves open to a punch Inoue has set them up for like when Inoue stopped Fulton.
So what makes you think RR and his 10 or so fights is some elite talent versus the guys Inoue has beaten? RR's sole name opponent is a worn Dogboe... Please break it down for me.
