Is investing shots to the body the key to beating Wilder?

The way to beat Wilder is with perfect footwork. Throwing to to the body would leave a fighter open to getting caught by Wilder unless it's done with superior positioning, so Widler can't throw back. Ortiz did a lot of that but slipped up.

I don't disagree but I'm just pointing out which attributes he has. He's got a great chin and has good power. On top of that top notch skills. He could be heavyweight champ soon enough. I'm sure after Molina he'll be getting another good step up fight. Sure Molina is his 10th opponent so he's making very good progress.

Yep. That's what a lot of Wilder haters don't get or acknowledge. Regardless of your style or strategy at some point in a 12 round fight you are going to make a mistake. Against Wilder you just have to pray you don't get caught. Because if you get caught it time to take a nap. lol

Wilder has something we've never seen anybody else have before. The one hitta quitta. lol

We've seen big powerful puncher before such as AJ. But AJ isn't going to knock you out most time with one punch. With Wilder it is just one shot and good night.

Not really bc the more body shots you try to land the more likely you get hit unless you plan to stick inside the entire fight.

The key is long jabs /stiff jabs but limit them to get him off balance and make him reset when you plan to attack him, while he resets you then go in on him . Ortiz did this to an extent the first fight then abandoned it when he slowed down ,I didn't see the fight yet last night so ?

The key to defeating wilder ultimatley is high punch counts /active jabbers with limited pauses in between but certain guys will be able to frustrate him who are of upwards 6'5 without having to worry about that but they are few.

lol Amazing how AJ has made Ruiz look like the best HW. Wilder will knockout this fat joke. People forget AJ dropped him down with one punch, Imagine what Wilders punch will do!!
