Is it a blessing in disguise that Briggs got the decision over Foreman?

It might well be that (he unironically & unflinchingly calls himself the no. 1 Heavyweight of all-time), or it might have been the money on offer, as Holmes was also a very studious businessman.

Did he really? I get that he was hyped up after the Golota win but he looked really horrible in that fight, and with the Pole's tendency to quit while he was winning, I don't see how anybody can take that win seriously- Especially to compare him to Lewis.

I did not think George deserved the nod over Savarese. And if memory serves, there was some contraversy with the ref deducting a point from Lou late in the bout. Not even sure Foreman was better than a draw against Crawford Grimsley---now there's a name seldom mentioned.

So it was a good time and way to leave the game for Foreman and those were all guys that went the distance----and should not

No problem, and it's funny because I have exactly the same scorecards for the Stewart and Schulz fight.
I diverge with you very slightly about the two others fights, as I scored the 11th round for Foreman in the Briggs fight (which make it 116-112 for Foreman), and I thought that Foreman won the 5th instead of the 4th against Savarese, with the 8th even (so 115-113 Foreman).

I think that Stewart produced a gallant effort, but just one tad less than he should have done to deserve a draw/win.
Schulz was robbed as was Foreman with Briggs, and although Savarese fought toe-to-toe with Foreman, he gassed in the later parts which IMO gave Foreman a deserved close win.

Foreman beat Briggs like a father does with is undisciplined son during all the fight.

    He was clearly robbed.
