Is it a fair assessment to call Jr Middle as the next dominant division?

    Andrade
    Lara
    Charlo x2
    Errol Spence
    Canelo
    Vanes
    Trout
    Molina
    Kirkland
    Angulo

Not all elite...but that is a hell of a division.

Spence is still atleast a year away from playing with the big boys, by then a few of those names will have dropped off like Andrade and Angulo. But you can add J-Rock to the list.

Nah, most of the guys you listed aren't very good. It has the appearance of a good division because most of the guys are on the same level as each other and up until recently rarely fought one another. That makes it competitive looking, yes, but dominant, no.

It's real nice! I would say so, espcially when Mayweather can hop in at any point and fight somebody there. add Cotto too

I don't think any division is particularly strong right now but I'd say 147 will be stronger once the remaining junior welters move up. Featherweight also looks pretty loaded and will become even more so if Rigondeaux does in fact move up.

I think the only real elite guys at junior middle are Lara and possibly Molina and both have serious flaws themselves. Aside from them Angulo and Vanes are downright mediocre, the Charlos are unproven, Canelo still has loads of question marks surrounding him, and Trout's best victories came over blown up welters.

    Nope

Very boring division overhyped by desperate Americans. Funny how they always claim the "dominant division" is whichever one has the most 'Muricans' in it at the time. Used to be the heavyweight, but now that 'Murica can't produce a good heavyweight the xenophobic, braindead yanks don't care about that.

I put guys like Trout and Vanes on there as depth guys. They are not elite, but not cab drivers either.

At Welter I think the issue is that it will lose a couple top dogs in less than 2 years and Thurman may need to move up. So guys moving up from 140 maybe is a wash.

So where do you sit on the divisions then? A lot of names are retiring in the next couple years (Floyd, Manny, Klits, Froch, Marquez, Bhop, Martinez, Cotto, Sturm) ..so which do you see is the next top division?

The welters is gonna be the hot bed of talent but 154 will be a close second. Them Charlo boys is about to dominate. They are gonna put a halt to welters coming up and middleweights coming down. It's about to heat up. I think that Danny, Matthese, and Peterson is gonna move up to welter. If that happens, there will be no end to good match ups.
