Is it a positive or negative to have your father as your trainer ?

    If it's Floyd Jr, I'd say negative.

    Depends really.

    Some people say the emotional attatchment can be detrimental, claiming that a father is quicker to throw in the towel for a loved one but I reckon a father's pride and the "my dad is always nicest to the neighbours kids" factor can sometimes see him let the fight go further.

    Depends on the relationship, the fighter and the abilities of the dad as a trainer.

    Honestly i dont think roy would have been roy without Roy Snr whooping him when he was younger.
