Is it acceptable that Khan STILL hasn't fought Brescott again to avenge that loss?

Personally, I was impressed with how he moved forward and became one of the best junior welterweights, probably top 5 at this point.
Still, i bet some of you think differently.
    Thoughts?

I'm certainly not renowned for my love of Amir but this is a bit off target. That fight was more about how far removed from expectations Amir still was.Prescott is a very average fighter as subsequent events have shown. It really wouldn't serve much purpose if you're honest.Truth is Khan's improved defence would probably mean that he would win quite convincingly.
It doesn't mean that much in the grand scheme.
I'd much rather see Khan get sparkled by an elite fighter anyway.

I will write Khan off my list if he doesn't impress in his rematch. He simplyb doesn't have the all round skills that a fighter like Peterson has. Fast hands don't win fighting... timing negates speed and Peterson can adjust.

Reallistically this year he should fight Peterson and Prescott then towards end of year debut at 147. But this won't happen.

Who cares about that crybaby, sissy punk Khan. He ruined his whole image as a fighter. Hope he gets knocked out in the rematch and retires for good. He's a waste of time! What a punk he turned out to be.:|:|:|:|:|:|:|:|:|:|

I think Khan should have fought Prescott before fighting Malignaggi or instead of fighting Salita but I think he was his mandatory challenger.

He wouldn't getting a lot of credit for beating Prescott as he has lost to a few fighters who aren't as good as Khan, but he diffently would get respect for fighting him again.

Doesn't bother me, Khan jumped straight to world level a year later whereas prescott went on a bad run. Every time he has had the opportunity to make a real statement to make the fight he has failed mainly due to bad conditioning/stamina.

If Khan loses the re-match to Peterson I can see it happening then though.

No, not really -prescott is an average fighter with good power who fades after 5, his power goes completely - although he look great in out boxing alvarado untill he got stopped in the last round

It did for a year or two, but now I think it would be pointless. Sometimes a young guy gets hit with a shot and can't recover. Had Prescott remained relevant, my feelings would be different.

People can say what they want about Prescott, but he still comes to fight and makes a good opponent. If Prescott is as bad as people say, well then all the more reason to try and avenge the worst loss of your career, no?

I think Khan's moved on from there and it's no longer such a relevant fight.

However, I actually think it would sell quite well if Khan wanted an opponent for a fight in the UK - pretty easy fight to hype in the UK, I think.

No. Which is exactly why I have no sympathy for him about his recent loss.
