Sanders was getting a lot more money to fight for the WBC belt against Vitali because that's the fight the brothers wanted. The fight would have been just as big against Vlad, but Vlad's management offered Sanders short money, and he walked. Why was the fight against Vitali so much more profitable? It wasn't, the pot was sweater because Vlad's manager wanted no part. Just as Vlad did not want a rematch against Peter until Vitali beat him senseless, and ruined his career. Same goes for Brewster. The White Wolf ruined his career, and then Vlad wanted the leftovers of what Segei left half blind and only fighting for money. These are facts, accept them.

.............or, he could have just offered him a comparable purse to what Vitali's management was offering. Anyone who saw Vitali in the ring with Lewis and Kirk Johnson knew that big bro did not have the deficiencies of Vlad. Old man Sanders did what any smart business man would do. He took the bigger purse, and the beat down that came with it.

Remember when Nay_Sayer was bigging up David Haye BEFORE the fight.

    How did that work out?

Can't find a source of this? Never was there any mention of Wlad short changing Sanders. Sanders made up his mind and knew who he wanted next.

Sanders said he just wanted to fight and beat both brothers. He took a year off and vacated the title for the sole purpose of meeting big brother. If he beat Vitali, he told Wlad he would rematch him.

    Here's my soucre:

When I beat Vitali, I’m sure I’ll be the only person that can beat two brothers in the same division,” Sanders said Wednesday.
Vitali Klitschko, a Ukrainian based in Germany, was leading Lewis on all three scorecards after six round before being stopped on cuts last June in Los Angeles.
“I’m going to whack Klitschko like he’s never been whacked before,” Sanders said. “Nobody gave me a chance against Wladimir. That was a good fight and this one will be even better.”
Sanders said he wasn’t worried about fighting the 32-year-old Klitschko.
“I still feel like a 31-, 32-year-old,” he said. “I still believe I have a year or two in me.”
Sanders said if he beats Klitschko he would give a rematch to his brother.
“I believe he wants me again and I think it would be great for the whole world to see again because everybody thought it was a lucky punch,” he said.

Vitali offered a purse 3 times higher than Vlad. It's referenced right here in this thread, and was common knowledge at the time.

You mean this link..in regards to the Brewster mandatory..NOT WLAD. :patsch

Sanders WBO Mandatory was Brewster and his payday for that fight was to be $360,000. His pay for the Vitali fight was $980,000.

Wlad could have offered more money perhaps, but Vitali was for Lewis' vacated title, and a chance to sweep both brothers. Sanders is quoted as saying all this. Sanders wanted Vitali and a chance to fight for the most prestigious title at the time. He said this. We know this. Nothing Wlad could do..accept torture his mother of course.

What does the price of tea in China have to do with anything we're talking about here? Corrie Sanders and Ross Purrity both knocked his ***** ass out. Again, who in the **** did he beat?
