Is it acceptable that Wlad NEVER fought Sanders ever again?

Can see by my history that im not high on Wlad either but i give credit to his longevity.
But in all fairness if these same fighters were beaten by Lewis or Holyfield or Ali you would be praising them.
If Wlad was beating the contenders Ali had beaten you would automaticly classify them as bums as obviously they have to be to lose to Wlad right?

I actually think you are happy with Wlads reign i mean if he would dissapear you would have to find something else to unleash irrational hate on.

 

Totally unacceptable for an Olympic Gold Medalist to bypass two guys who knocked him out!

 

Than WHO did Wlad beat?

WHO did Corrie Sanders not beat?

A string of BUMs, STIFFs, Tomato Cans, NO HOPERs, and Ole Men...

 

Byrd was prime and talent.

Haye was prime and talent.

 

He beat class A HW's.

 

He did beat better opponents before and after these losses.

 

With the lack of competition don't be surprise if they come up with a rematch.Sanders weighting 320 lbs and carrying a cane.

 

Neither one of these guys are Heavyweights.

Byrd had already been sparked in 6 by Ike Ibeabuchi BEFORE Wlad got his hands on him and Haye has done **** @ HW.

The fact that Byrd and Haye, guys who were giving up 30 lbs and 3-4 inches in height, are Wlado's best wins only illustrate how much of a JOKE he is...

 

Like WHO?

NOBODY considers Byrd and Haye to be "Class A" HWs.

 

The fact that no heavyweight, who is the size of Wlad, has rised as top contender isn't Klitschko's fault.

The best that Wlad can do it to fight the top guys.

Haye and Byrd, no matter if you want it or not, have been the best heavyweights of the last decade, apart from the Klitschkos. Do you think John Ruiz is better? Nikolay Valuev? The fact is that Byrd was #1 contender the second time that Wlad beat him. Haye was in the Top3. (Obviously Wlad isn't going to fight his brother, it has never happened and it's an absurd idea.)

 

I got through about 6 pages of reading before it was intolerable and I had to just respond.

I don't think it really matters one way or the other whether or not Wladimir ever had a rematch with Sanders. Sanders was a long shot opponent who got lucky, and happened to catch Wladimir being careless and over confident in his abilities. I don't know if that's a number Wladimir wanted to really dial up again as it appeared Sanders had his number, but regardless I don't see it being such a big deal now. After all, who holds the majority of the belts in the heavyweight division, is recognized as the true heavyweight champion, and is on a solid role going on a couple years now? And where is Sander again? So does it really matter that Wladimir never fought him again? Time doesn't appear to say it does. Although many would have liked to see that loss avenged, I don't think there's any real question that it would have been had they fought again. Who would really take Sanders in a rematch? Who would believe he could catch lightning in a bottle again? Not anyone I can think of with a brain and two eyes that's for sure. Wladimir is and was the better fighter, but like a lot fighters he got beat when he least expected it. If they had met in a rematch, Wladimir would have disposed of Sanders much in the fashion that Vitali did, only he would have looked better doing it.

 

It is a fact that Sanders refused to give Vlad a rematch. It is a fact that Vlad tried to get a rematch with Sanders period, but Sanders refused. If Sanders had said yes, then their would have been a rematch. Sanders is the best southpaw heavyweight I have even seen. I followed his career for years. He was not allowed to fight in the Olympics, but if he had he would have won. Sanders had been blacklisted for a long time. Vlad did not do much sparring, and zero against a southpaw, he came into the ring cold. He had been lifting weights, had just come off a TKO win over Jameel McCline when McCline was at his peak. Klaus Peter Kohl put him with Sanders, was a huge disappointment for Vlad as he wanted a top ten heavyweight. Sanders had been training for months, he was in the best shape of his career and had been training to fight Nicolai Valouev in South Africa. Notice how cold Vlad was........Sander's nickname was "The Sniper" as he goes for broke early, always had.
