Is it correct to say that these will be the reactions of the GGG/Lemieux fight?

GGG easily beats Lemieux: "It's because Lemieux is a bum!"

Lemieux does better than expected: "It's because Golovkin is a hype job!"

GGG gets knocked down/knocked out: "It's because Golovkin is a bum."

This is it. For Golovkin haters, there will seriously be NO WAY Golovkin wins respect because they already have the responses lined up no matter which way the fight goes.

If Golovkin goes out and beats Lemieux early/with ease, then the haters will say it's because Lemieux was a bum. But if Lemieux goes out and is able to make it a fight, land good shots, and maybe hurt GGG... they'll say it's because GGG is a hype job or bum.

Am I right or am I right?

Yall can't be forreal. Lemieux is the IBF champ. He's improved since Rubio. Can't we say the same regarding Canelo of Mayweather and Canelo of now? Lemieux has improved. And it's not like Lemieux was run over in the TWO fights he lost. He was winning before he gassed out in both, but he handles his stamina better now. AND he's one of the hardest punching MW in the division- maybe more than GGG.

    Does this not mean anything?

Yeah, and it's sad. People can't appreciate greatness.

How can you compare Lemieux to Canelo in this situation? Baffling.

  9. :good Yep, it's amazing how these mutha****as on this forum flip-flop with their positions on who is worthy of what.

Half of these posters should be politicians.

Floyd does have the same kind of haters, anything he does he can't win.

You're implying that Canelo that fought Floyd was just like Lemieux that fought Rubio. Which is simply a bizarre comparison.

The solution is to judge every fighter equally on opponents, yet this seems too simple a concept to grasp.

I'm not comparing Rubio to Floyd which is what you're trying to say I'm doing.

They both have improved since their losses, and they both were young and somewhat inexperienced, or as some would term "green".

I never once compared Floyd to Rubio. They are both irrelevant in this. My point is no matter how you put it, you can not legitimately compare Canelo and Lemieux.
