Is it fair to say now that Calzaghe's win over Hopkins trumps any win Mayeather has?

Calzaghe did not win, and Hopkins was not in his prime when he was nearly in his mid 40's LOL. Only a uk****, or a cal**** would assume that.

Yes we have youtube but it looks like that's a HBO video and says they've blocked it in the UK.

Everyone knows Calzaghe won that fight, I'm convinced nobody genuinely believes Hopkins won with an iota of boxing knowledge they are just butt hurt trolls or DKSAB

Your even worse than Blizzy for scoring it for the black guy! You called Porter-Brook a robbery when Porter didn't land a clean punch all night :patsch

I watched it in HDTV and so Calzaghe make Hopkins want to quit and outland him every round.

You of course, have probably never watched it, heard that it might have been close and claimed Hopkins won because he was black. :-(

Well just you tube Hopkins Calzaghe highlights and you will see the same video but hey Joe won that by a close decision but Hopkins did himself no favors with his crying act ..If anything he deserved to lose based on that imo that was disgraceful .

I called it a robbery due to the Richard Abril style like clinching. After rewatching it, I couldn't score it for Porter though. I've watched Hopkins vs Calzaghe several times, and I still stand by my statement that Hopkins won. An old out of his prime Hopkins knocked Calzaghe down, and went on to make him shadow box air all night. Hopkins was an old ass man but still brought Calzaghe to school. Even if Calzaghe did win(which he didn't), beating a 43 year old man doesn't say much now does it? the same 43 year old man who lost to Taylor when he was younger.

Calzaghe won, Hopkins is a hard fighter to beat and is still number 2 contender at LHW in his damn 50's. His prime can be debated and no his age doesn't factor as he is a unique fighter and did lose in the middle of the best run of his career. Kovalev is already being called this great fighter at LHW and his best win is a 50 yr old Hopkins. His next fight that will help him solidify his status as the best LHW is Pascal who already was beaten by this old man named Hopkins. Give Calzaghe his due but remember Hopkins has a better legacy. :D
