Is it fair to say that Povetkin has at least the 3rd best HW cv amongst the active hw

One could at least argue that Adamek has a better resume at heavyweight. They both have the same best win, and that win comes with an asterisk for both. I'd say Adamek's second best win (Arreola) is a bit better than Povetkin's second best. Huck is a bit of a toss up because most people I know think Huck won that fight, and that was moving up in weight. Adamek got his ass kicked by Vitali, but Povetkin has blatantly ducked the Klitschkos. Povetkin's resume is certainly deeper, but there's at least an argument for Adamek.

There is no argument for Haye frankly. Every hole that can be poked in Povetkin's resume can be poked in Haye's twice as deep, and frankly his best win at heavy probably isn't as good as either Adamek's or Povetkin's top 2.

Why for Povetkin? Chambers was not hurt in that fight. Povetkin clearly won that fight. Also Chagaev>Arreola any way you put it. Also Byrd win was good where as Adameks third win, Golota KO, is not that good.

I'd say Povetkin>Adamek overall and in cv
