Is it impossible to be a fan of Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather Jr?

I am a hardcore floyd fan. He is without a doubt my favorite fighter of all time and i luv watching his skills in the ring. But that doesnt mean i hate pac. I think that he may hav used peds but thats not hatin. I think he is a real nice guy and a great fighter and a definate ATG. U cant ignore wat any of these 2 hav accomplished. When they fight i will obviosly b cheering floyd but that doesnt mean i hate pac.

im a fan of both. you can't deny floyd's skills when your talking about boxing. but having said that, im more inclined on pac because of his style. the guy just shows everything to give a hell of a fight

I think it's pretty easy as long as you don't let the nuthuggers on both sides get inside your head

*****s and *******s have an incredible ability to make you hate the fighter they are such fans of. I try to stay away from most of the Pac vs PBF threads because I know if I read through it, I might end up a hater.

Right now I'm a bigger fan of Pac but I certainly appreciate and respect Floyd's skill and talent inside the ring.

I'm a fan of both but believe one is better than the other based on boxings skills rather than allegiance.

Anyone that thinks you have to pick one or the other is close-minded, plain and simple. It's as stupid as when people try to peg you as a Beatles or a Stones guy. (God I hate that. What a bunch of stupid ****. I don't even want to know people who think like this.) There is no reason you can't like both. That said, them trying to negotiate has made my thoughts about both more complicated. Now they need to fight in order to redeem themselves for subjecting the fans to all of this horrible bull****.

When talk of Floyd vs. Pac began, I wanted badly for Pac to whoop Floyd's ass. Mostly because Floyd has this tendency to act like a douche. Maybe you've noticed. However, I never really believed 100% in that outcome. My opinions have changed over time. I believe that Floyd will outclass Pac, and I'm more than okay with that. I won't begrudge Floyd of what he has worked so hard to achieve, as he is the more skilled fighter. Regardless, the fight needs to happen, just so we can be sure. It would not only be great for the sport, it could be the defining moment for both of their legacies.

Speaking of legacies... Mayweather is a weird guy. He'll say that boxing is only about money when that argument suits his needs. If it was only about money, why would he be so obsessed with remaining undefeated? Is he deathly afraid that his stock will plummet when he loses that zero? In this day and age, that's very possible, given how fickle boxing fans have become. I think this is a shitty trend. Some of my favorite fights are the ones where a fighter is able to gain respect by losing admirably. Adversity is a huge part of what makes a champion. Not that Floyd wants to be anyone's champion, cause he's just too cool for that, right? No, I believe he does care about his legacy, but he only acknowledges this, again, when this argument suits his agenda at the moment. You can't have it both ways, Floyd. Does he give a **** or not? Of course he does. He's always playing this game of "now you see me, now you don't" in regards to this. Whatever, I'm done trying to analyze what goes on in his peanut head.

I like Pac. Why wouldn't I? But IMHO, he just looks like more of a buffoon with every passing day. No testing one day, 14 days another, only X amount of blood, etc. Get it together, man. I think a lot of it has to do with his management, but he can't be free of the blame either. The Mayweather's started throwing around baseless accusations, but Pacquiao and his team have done a terrible job of refuting them. They're doublespeak is just ridiculous.

If all this back and forth between Pac and May is just a ruse to drum up more hype, then it's genius. Not a day goes by without another god damn Pac/May thread. And now here I am thinking about this crap because I'm inundated with it. Blah, I'm done rambling, enough bull****...

    BOTH!

I like them both... I would have a hard time choosing between one, I hope they still give us 3-5 more fights. These guys are gonna be legends and I want to witness more of their skills.
